Product Overview
YIMENG American-type prefabricated substations combine medium-voltage switching, a transformer and low-voltage distribution in a compact outdoor assembly. The integrated arrangement provides power reception, voltage transformation and outgoing distribution for residential communities, commercial facilities, solar power projects and logistics parks.
The supplied product range covers transformer capacities from 30 to 10,000 kVA and primary voltages up to 35 kV, subject to the selected design. Ring-feed or radial-feed arrangements, secondary voltage and outgoing circuits can be specified around the project’s electrical requirements. Factory assembly helps reduce site assembly work, while the enclosure layout supports transport, installation and maintenance planning.

Product Advantages
Integrated Equipment for Coordinated Installation
Switching equipment, the transformer and low-voltage distribution are combined within one assembly. This allows internal connections, protection and equipment positioning to be planned together, helping simplify coordination between the substation and the site distribution system.
Compact Layout Near the Connected Loads
The outdoor arrangement allows the substation to be positioned close to the loads where site conditions permit. Final placement considers the installation footprint, cable routes, access clearances and local project requirements.
Capacity and Voltage Selection Around Actual Demand
Transformer capacity and voltage ratio can be selected around the calculated load, supply conditions and planned expansion. The final selection also considers load characteristics, transformer impedance, losses and protection coordination.
Ring-Feed or Radial-Feed Arrangements
The incoming arrangement can be specified to suit a ring or radial distribution network. Switching and protection functions are selected according to the approved single-line diagram and the utility or project requirements.
Factory Assembly to Reduce Site Work
The main equipment and internal connections can be assembled before delivery. This helps reduce on-site assembly tasks, while foundation preparation, external cable connections, earthing, testing and commissioning remain part of the installation plan.
Outdoor Enclosure and Service Access
The enclosure protection level, finish and access arrangement can be specified for the installation environment. Equipment layout, ventilation or heat dissipation, cable access and maintenance space are reviewed during project design.
Typical Applications

Residential Communities
Local voltage transformation and low-voltage distribution for housing developments, with transformer capacity and outgoing circuits selected around the calculated demand.
Commercial Complexes
Distribution for offices, retail developments and other commercial facilities, including lighting, air conditioning, lifts and general building services.
Solar Power Projects
Transformer and switching applications in suitable photovoltaic systems. Power-flow direction, voltage ratio, transformer duty and grid-connection protection must be confirmed for the project.
Logistics and Distribution Parks
Power distribution for warehouses, logistics centres and supporting facilities, with capacity selected around building loads, handling equipment and any specified charging infrastructure.
Industrial Facilities
Outdoor distribution for suitable manufacturing and utility loads, with transformer and protective-device selection based on the site’s electrical requirements.
