Product Overview
YIMENG European-type prefabricated substations integrate medium-voltage switchgear, a distribution transformer and low-voltage distribution equipment within a modular outdoor enclosure. Separate functional sections provide an organized arrangement for power reception, voltage transformation and outgoing distribution.
With transformer capacities from 50 to 1,600 kVA and dry-type or oil-immersed options, the substation can be configured around the project’s electrical loads and installation requirements. Architectural enclosure finishes help coordinate its appearance with surrounding buildings, while factory assembly supports efficient site installation and commissioning.

The source voltage entry “12V/0.4KV” requires confirmation. The equipment voltage rating, transformer voltage ratio and low-voltage insulation ratings must be confirmed together for the selected configuration.
The medium-voltage current range requires confirmation as either transformer primary current or switchgear rated current.
Peak withstand currents are shown as peak values. The accompanying time annotations in the source data require clarification.
The tables summarize the supplied configuration data. Final rating combinations, transformer selection, dimensions and test requirements are subject to the approved project documentation.
Product Advantages
Integrated Distribution in One Assembly
Medium-voltage switching, voltage transformation and low-voltage distribution are combined within one prefabricated structure. This supports coordinated planning of equipment connections, protection and the overall installation layout.
Separate Functional Sections
Dedicated medium-voltage, transformer and low-voltage sections organize the equipment by function. Doors, cable routes and service access can be planned around operation, inspection and maintenance requirements.
Architectural Enclosure Options
Exterior finishes can be selected to coordinate with nearby buildings and public spaces. Enclosure appearance, ventilation openings and access arrangements are developed together to balance visual requirements with equipment operation.
Transformer Selection Around Project Loads
Dry-type and oil-immersed transformers are available within the supplied capacity range. Selection takes account of electrical demand, losses, ventilation, fire-safety provisions and site conditions.
Factory Assembly for Efficient Site Installation
The main equipment and internal connections can be assembled before delivery, helping reduce site assembly work. Foundation preparation, external cable connections, earthing, testing and commissioning are completed according to the project plan.
Configurable Dimensions and Circuit Arrangements
Enclosure dimensions, switching functions and low-voltage outgoing circuits can be specified around the approved design. Installation space, cable entry, transport access and maintenance clearances are considered during configuration.
Typical Applications

Urban Public Spaces
Local power distribution for public facilities and urban developments where enclosure appearance and installation footprint are important planning considerations.
Healthcare and Education Campuses
Transformer and distribution equipment for hospitals, schools and university campuses. Supply continuity depends on the overall power-system design, including backup sources and protection coordination.
Metro and Rail Infrastructure
Power distribution for station services, lighting, ventilation and other auxiliary loads, subject to the project’s electrical and environmental requirements.
Industrial and Commercial Developments
Integrated distribution for business parks, commercial complexes and industrial sites requiring a dedicated outdoor substation.
Wind and Renewable Energy Projects
Transformer and switching applications within suitable renewable energy systems. Voltage ratio, power-flow direction, protection and grid-connection requirements are confirmed for the specific project.
